Waxing moon

This is my first serious attempt on astrophotography and I thought it's worthwhile to share it by creating a blog. I will try to progress into this world as it is becoming one of my passions. 

The picture shows the waxing moon at 44% on Aug, 13th. The picture was taken in Guitiriz, Galicia, the nearest and darkest place to where I live that I could find until the date. The night was clear enough to try to get a sharp phocus on the moon, one of the things I find more difficult in these early attempts.
